TSILLAN CELLARS WINERY GIFTS
$2000 TO LOCAL BREAST CANCER
FOUNDATION
Tsillan
Cellars Winery presented a check for $2000 to Chelan Chase, a local breast
cancer foundation equally benefiting the Lake Chelan Community Hospital
Mammography Department and the Chelan Douglas Relay for Life/American Cancer
Society. Tsillan Cellars continues to donate $1.00 to a worthy local charity
for every bottle of their award winning Estate white wines sold each month.
The Manson
Music Booster Association has been selected as the October Charity of the
Month. Due to budgetary constraints the school district is not able to fund
this program which provides instruments to students who may not be able to take
music due to lack of family financial ability according to Aurora Flores of the
Manson Music Booster Association. The Manson Music Booster Club is working on
funding this program so that all can participate in the music program
regardless of student means. Dr. Bob Jankelson, owner of Tsillan Cellars says
he is delighted to give this program a much needed boost but apologizes to
those parent whose children chose to take up the drums under this program.
The
Salvation Army has been selected to benefit from the Tsillan Cellars program
for the months of November and December. Dr. Bob states that the Salvation Army
has long the poster child of caring charity organizations during the Holiday
Season and it is most worthy of support, particularly in these difficult
economic times. |
