A congratulations are in order for our Head Winemaker, Ray Sandidge and Assistant Winemaker, Devon Griffith for earning the Crystal Rose Award-Best Dessert Wine as well as Best of Category for the 2017 Porzione de Angeli Barbera Dessert Wine at the 2018 Northwest Wine Summit. The 2017 Porzione de Angeli is Tsillan Cellars 100% estate dessert wine made completely from Barbera. This is the first dessert wine Tsillan Cellars has produced in over ten years. With only 100 cases of the 2018 vintage produced, this wine won’t be around for long. It was officially released in June and has been a favorite in the tasting room this summer.
Tsillan Cellars 2015 Estate Reserve Syrah also earned a Best of Category award. This vintage of Reserve Syrah has been aged in 100% new French and American oak barrels and remains one of Tsillan Cellars most popular red wines.
