Plum in color, it opens on the nose with mixed-berry compote and rhubarb. The flavor presents notes of rose petal, red cherry and baking spices. The wine is quite smooth showing well integrated tannins and moderate acidity.  The body is medium-plus with a finish possessing very good length. This wine pairs wonderfully with Trish’s ground lamb meatballs served with a red sauce over pasta, is a great match for this wine.
